TOYS!

So we are now a week out from our Christmas because we had to have a day early. . .so when most of the world was finishing their wrapping and shopping on Christmas Eve morning. . .we were unwrapping our presents.

With three kids you could imagine the loot the kiddos got from the big burly man from the north pole. Well now we have to somehow manage to squeeze all that new loot in with the old loot from the past. Good LUCK with that one. So you think well that is okay we will just go through the toys and pack up the toys that have barely been played with and donate them! Right? NO sire. Lots of these donations sites will no longer take our gently used toys due to lead concerns? So we can buy these lead filled toys for $20, $40, $100 and let our kids play with it. . .but the kids that are no so fortunate or the parents that are smart and don't want to pay full price for this glorified junk can't get it at the local Goodwill because the toys may contain lead? Are you kidding me!

I love the holidays! Happy News Years to all.

Mothers

Really why is it that mothers have such a profound effect on your daily life?

Good or Bad. . .why?

When I was a teenagers. . .I remember thinking I just have to put up with this for x number of years then I am out of here.
Then when I was going to college and lived AWAY from home it was like once I am off the parental units payroll. . .I am soooo out of here.
Well now I am in my thirties. I am not seeing a way out of here. This sucks.
